Luke Whittle

Director of Soccer

Luke Whittle is one of Alabama soccer’s most experienced and respected coaches. Over his distinguished career, he has played a pivotal role in developing numerous players who have reached the professional and national team levels, including JJ Williams, Brandon Servania, and Jaden Servania.

A four-year starter at the University of South Alabama, Luke’s playing career laid the foundation for his deep understanding of the game. His coaching experience spans every level of soccer—from youth and collegiate programs to the professional ranks—making him a versatile and highly skilled leader.

In addition to his role as VHSC’s Director of Soccer, Luke also serves as the Director of the Hoover-Vestavia Soccer Girls Program, a member of the prestigious Girls Academy. This program highlights the strong link between VHSC and HVS, offering an elite pathway for players to compete at regional and national levels while providing exceptional college recruitment and placement opportunities.
